Dana Kaplan, E-RYT 500 will lead you through a relaxing yin series preparing you for a night of deep sleep all set to the heavenly music & healing mantras of world-beat musician, singer-songwriter & yoga festival producer Wynne Paris.
The intention of yin yoga is to safely stress the connective tissues like the joints and ligaments that are responsible for range of motion & to release tension in the hips and lower back. As you hold these poses on the floor for several minutes at a time without muscle tension, the incredible musical stylings of Wynne Paris will allow you to melt deeply into the practice. Dana will lend her voice on harmony too. She and Wynne have been singing together for almost a decade.
About the musician: Wynne Paris has recorded and performed with many of the most beloved and renowned yoga music artists (Krishna Das, GuruGanesha Singh, Bhagavan Das, Shyam Das, Dave Stringer, Girish) and has taken center stage and/or produced some of the country's most well-known yoga festivals and venues: Bhakti Fest, Omega, Kripalu, Earth Dance, Lovelight Festival, to name a few. Wynne resides in Maryland and we are blessed to have him share his heart and talents with us on his summer tour through Florida!
